The nomination for Incremental learning for Adaptive Visual Place Recognition in Dynamic Indoor Environments by Jie Luo

During the thesis work Jie Luo has shown to be an independent mind with a good intuition for feasbile and innovative ideas. He has been working close to a research group at KTH but has not depended upon them. His work shows great maturity of thinking and a good combination of formal and experimental methods combining previous solutions in a novel way. Parts of the work are alredy published in co-operation with the senior researchers in the research group and Jie has sinced moved on to become a PhD student in Switzerland.
